Phew! Today was even more difficult than I thought it would be. Not a fun day for Audrey but the hard part is over for now. The initial feedback from the MRI is that everything looked normal. I can not thank God enough. Of course this means we still don't know what is wrong with her. There are a few more tests that we should hear back about tomorrow. And Ty Ty starts school tomorrow. Big day.

Day Two in the Hospital
Yesterday, Audrey and I checked into the hospital. She thought it was a lot of fun here. Lots of toys and mommy by her side at all times. Then the night came. She slept very little. We spent much of the night walking back and forth down the two hallways in the pediatric unit. She has not been allowed to eat or drink since midnight because she has an MRI scheduled today. This should be the worst day with most of the needles and tests. Thank God for Sofia who is watching the boys for me.

Audrey's Health
Ok. So as some of you are aware, we have had some health concerns with Audrey this year.
She hasn't gained weight since she was 6 months old.
We have done over 2 dozen tests and seen many many specialists. Still, we have no answers as to why she is not able to gain weight. She has a special calorie-dense diet and I spend a good portion of my day chasing her around the house trying to stuff more food in her.
During the testing process, we did discover a hole in Audrey's heart (Atrial Septal Defect) and for some time we thought that was the cause of her "Failulre to thrive."
Since then, the hole has started to close up on it's own. Thank you God! So now we do not believe the heart defect is the source of her weight issue.
So I share all this because her team of secialists has decided to hospitalize her for a week of observation and a couple additional tests. This will take place from August 30 to September 3rd.
I thought I would share this with our friends and family now in detail because it has been hard to keep everyone up to date with the datails and frankly, sometimes I am too upset to talk about it a lot.
I think we have our people lined up to watch the boys while I am at the hospital and Ben is at work. I am truly overwhelmed with this all right now and would appreciate if any qustions could be directed to Ben. His email is beninstone@hotmail.com.
The summary of the sitution is that we don't know that anything is really wrong with Audrey right now. So it's not really a sad time for us or anything. Just a lot of worry and effort. She continues to show no other problems with health or developement and in the end we may find that she's just a little peanut.
Thanks for all your love and support.
Kelly - and Ben and the boys too.
